PhD in Human Kinetics, Dance (FMH/UTL-2007), MA in Sociology (FLUP/1998), BA in Theatre (ESMAE/1996), Degree in Sociology (FLUP/1993), Dance Conservatory (1987). She regularly participates in colloquiums, conferences and festivals, having presented numerous communications at different national and international institutions. Invited professor at the Université de Franche-Comté (FR); Universidade Federal da Bahia (BR); Universidade da Coruña (ES); Zurich University of The Arts (SU) and Duke University (USA). She regularly publishes papers on Aesthetics of Artistic Direction, Performing Arts Analysis and Dramaturgy of the Body. In parallel, she has been carrying out her professional artistic activity as a director, playwright, choreographer and performer, in collaboration with numerous theatres and festivals.
