Livros IS-UP [IS-UP Books] is a book-length publication of papers authored by Integrated Researchers of the Institute of Sociology of the University of Porto. This edition publishes high quality Sociology or other Social Sciences scientific texts based on theoretical and methodological diversity and on the sustained confrontation of scientific perspectives in order to contribute heuristically to the knowledge of contemporary society. 

PUBLICATION POLICY:

Publication format: paper, in a publishing house to be designated by IS-UP's Board of Directors, assigning an ISBN and DOI.

Review: double-blind peer review

Evaluation and editing: under the responsibility of the editorial group.

Submission: texts are received continuously and proposals must be submitted using the appropriate form.
