Sociologist, with a Master’s in Sociology - European Construction and Social Change in Portugal/ FLUP/2006. Integrated researcher at IS-UP- Institute of Sociology of the University of Porto/ FLUP, research sub-group TEPO: Work, employment, professions and organisations. PhD student and research grant holder by FCT and IS-UP - REFª UI/BD/150781/2020. Her doctoral thesis discusses the theme "Artificial Intelligence and Human Rights" (Dec.2020-May 2024). She has worked mainly in the area of social research, in university research centres; in the area of coordination and development of training/education and in research and project offices, mainly in the area of solidarity-based social economy. She is part of the group of researchers of SIIS - Interaction and Social Innovation Systems, R&D, of ISEP/PP.
