Sara Melo holds a PhD in Sociology (3rd cycle) from the Faculty of Arts, University of Porto (2015), a Master in Development and Social Integration from the Faculty of Economics, University of Porto (2007) and a degree in Sociology from the Faculty of Arts, University of Porto (2002). She is Chair of the Board of the Cooperativa de Ensino Superior de Serviço Social, CRL., is a member of the Scientific Board of the School of Social Service of Porto and Assistant Professor at the School of Social Service of Porto.
