Abstract:
The project consists in providing Smart Value Consulting with technical and scientific advice for the design and implementation of the "Programme for the Promotion of Social Innovation: Capacity Building and Support for the Implementation of the Social Innovation Initiative (2024-2025)", promoted by the Metropolitan Region of Porto under Axis II of the "Action Plan for the Disadvantaged Communities of the AMP" (PACD), Component C3 - Social Responses - of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR).
The project aims to promote an integrated training and learning process for innovative interventions in disadvantaged communities in order to (i) promote a common knowledge base on social innovation and generate a higher level of collaboration between the teams of the PACD's Axis I projects; (ii) define a set of social innovation challenges considered as priorities, as well as proposals for innovation missions aimed at responding to them; and (iii) operationalise and monitor a call for interventions/projects aimed at testing innovative responses to the identified social challenges.
Final beneficiaries/target population: Municipalities, social organisations, and the population living in the Porto Metropolitan Area.
