About
Abstract: Using films as a tool to deconstruct stereotypes, empower and emancipate, socially and individually, the population, the “O Clube de Cinema de Campanhã” project will have as its main activity the set-up of a community film club. The goal of the initiative is to strengthen democratic culture and civic awareness of a group of young residents in that territory.
In the course of the project, film sessions will be organised both in schools and within the community, in addition to debates, workshops and other activities open to everyone, with a view to strengthening the social commitment of the various young people involved and other residents to their parish. The initiative will also have a strong collaborative social diagnosis and ethnographic research component.
