Completed

About

Abstract: The project involves the development of technical and scientific advisory activities and applied research associated with the design and structure of integrated intervention operations in territories identified as “disadvantaged communities” in the municipalities of the Metropolitan Area of Porto.

Activities are carried out with the main funding entity, for the Metropolitan Area of Porto, and have the RRP – Recovery and Resilience Plan – as their general scope, in its Component 3 – Social Responses. These activities include preparing opinions and other input for the design and structure of the integrated intervention programme for the targeted disadvantaged communities, providing support to the organisation of capacity-building sessions and working meetings with the agents and entities involved in the organisation of the intervention programme, and providing technical and scientific information to support the preparation or revision of reference documents and project reports. Such activities are also aimed at building scientific knowledge on the conditions and success factors of community intervention in metropolitan contexts marked by poverty, social exclusion, and urban segregation.
