The 2025 edition of "In Progress. Research in Sociology. Presentation of doctoral students' work", organised by the PhD course in Sociology at the Department of Sociology at FLUP, in collaboration with the Institute of Sociology at the University of Porto.

This year's edition also features a closing lecture by Professor Seth M. Holmes (University of California Berkeley & ICREA, Universitat de Barcelona) entitled ‘Food Circuits: The Invisibilisation of Connections Between Migrants and Societies, Humans and Environments’.

Professor Seth M. Holmes' presentation will be given by Professor João Queirós, coordinator of the Social Recompositions and Territories sub-group at the University of Porto's Institute of Sociology.
