The project Participo! - Civic and Political Participation of Women has as its main objectives: to promote an increase in the rates of political and civic participation of women and girls in the parishes of Aldoar, Foz do Douro and Nevogilde; to promote greater involvement of women who are already involved in local political and civic life and who wish to increase their level of responsibility; to raise awareness of gender equality and opportunities; and to create tools to facilitate political and civic participation at local level.
