Abstract: The project aims to evaluate the impact of 10 artistic projects funded under the ‘Art and Urban Peripheries’ programme (partnership agreement between DGARTES/MC and AIMA - Agency for Integration, Migration and Asylum, I.P.), to identify further lines of action for future policy measures in the arts sector that contribute to reducing urban territorial asymmetries in access to artistic creation and enjoyment.
The programme's evaluation has the following aspects:
i) contribution of artistic projects to social and territorial cohesion;
ii) local impact in terms of artistic creation and enjoyment;
iii) the projects' contribution to local rooting and community empowerment.
Final beneficiaries/target population: artists and the populations of the territories involved.
