ISUP's Phd Club is organising a working session on February 12, at 5pm, in Sala de Reuniões 1, on the subject of "Transformations of the Working Class in the Era of Advanced Multinational Capitalism, Neoliberalism and Financial Globalisation - A Precarious Social Formation". The guest speaker is Jorge Corsi. The session will address the emergence of precarious work in contemporary societies, mobilising Goran Therborn's theories of social classes and Ruy Braga's concept of the global precariat.
