This month, ISUP welcomes Professor Hustana Vargas for a cycle of conferences open to the public. Professor of the Faculty of Education and of the Graduate Program in Education of the Fluminense Federal University (PPGE-UFF), Hustana Vargas leads the Laboratory on Access and Permanence at the University - LAP/UFF. In the same institution, he is part of the PENESB (Program of Education on the Negro in the Brazilian Society). Participates, at UFRJ, in the Laboratory of Research in Higher Education - LAPES
The first conference, "New itineraries of the Sociology of Education in Brazil", will take place at the Noble Amphitheater, on March 20, at 3 p.m. and is especially aimed at doctoral students. On March 22, at 5 p.m., in Meeting Room 1, it will be the turn of "Challenges of equality in higher education in Brazil." On March 24, at 6 p.m., at the Noble Amphitheater, it closes with "Research in Education: the look of Sociology."
