Thi Bogossian

Thi Bogossian is an interdisciplinary social scientist working on gender, migration and education. They hold a PhD in Sociology from the University of Surrey, where their doctoral research examined the experiences of migrant children in post-Brexit England. Their broader research interests include gender and sexuality, migration and displacement, education, belonging, borders, and inequalities. Their work draws on interdisciplinary and participatory approaches, including ethnography and creative and arts-based methods. Alongside their research, Thi has extensive experience in higher education, international development, research engagement and knowledge exchange, and is committed to developing research that connects academic work with the experiences and expertise of migrant and LGBTQIA+ communities.
