Bringing together researchers who study religion and religions in the context of multiple modernities, the ReliMM network aims to contribute to the development of an interdisciplinary environment, facilitating the creation of contexts for circulation, exchange and co-operation. This community is organised on the basis of a collaborative project that brings together various research units, represented by coordinating researchers.
The very complexity of the religious phenomenon resists the empire of a single perspective and theories of religion that lose sensitivity to the "religious in the making". Religion, as an object of knowledge, requires a multi-scoped view that allows the crossing of different scales and overcomes the tendencies towards its isolation or marginalisation in the scientific community. Within the framework of these objectives, the ReliMM (Religion in Multiple Modernities) network is organising its annual colloquium, facilitating the meeting of the most recent research trajectories, which are presented and discussed here.
The colloquium, which is free to attend, is open to anyone interested in the thematic areas presented.
