We're excited to announce the 8th KISMIF International Conference and Summer School taking place in Porto, Portugal, from July 6-11, 2026.

The conference will be preceded by a one-day Summer School entitled Clash the Future! CTRL + ALT + RIOT on July 7 at Batalha Centro de Cinema.

KISMIF 2026 explores DIY cultures as laboratories of social innovation in times of global crisis—from artivism and civic imagination to feminist makerspaces, environmental practices, and grassroots resistance.
