8th session | Bourdieu and his Books | Male Domination | March 30

On the occasion of the twenty years since the death of Pierre Bourdieu, IS-UP promotes a cycle of debates dedicated to the work of the French author. Having taken place during the year 2022, the cycle continues through the beginning of 2023.  Entitled "Bourdieu and his books", this activity is an invitation to read Bourdieu's sociological work, privileging the fundamental reference of his research constituted by the monographs, of different format and scope, which he has been publishing throughout his extensive and intense research path. The 8th session of the cycle, dedicated to the work "The Male Domination", will take place on March 30, at 6:00 p.m., at the FLUP Noble Amphitheater, with online transmission by zoom. The speakers will be Yasmine Siblot (Professor at the Université de Paris 8) and Annick Prieur (Professor at the University of Aalborg).
