Abstract: By the beginning of 2024, Portugal had welcomed more than 59,000 refugees from Ukraine. Their inclusion in the Portuguese education system is little known and under-researched, but its social, academic, and humanitarian relevance is pressing given the impact of the refugee crisis in Portugal and other European countries. We aim to expand sociological knowledge in this field and respond to the need to ensure more inclusive and cohesive societies.
Final beneficiaries/Target population: Refugees and Ukrainian families in general; Ukrainian immigrants; immigrants in general; teachers, students, local community; local associations, local artistic and creative network.
