The latest book from Livros IS-UP editions, in partnership with U.Porto Press, by Augusto Santos Silva, Helena Santos, and Paula Guerra, has been published.
The work explores topics such as the changes occurring in the art world and how the social context impacts its characteristics and evolution, starting from the specific case of Portugal. The authors develop, in particular, how public policies respond to these factors, anticipate them, or even generate them, from the perspective of the social sciences, fostering a productive dialogue between sociology and other disciplines such as economics, political science, history, and anthropology.
The book is available for purchase on the U.Porto Press website. Good readings!
