The Institute of Sociology of the University of Porto (IS-UP), as the host institution, welcomes applications for Individual research grants Marie Skłodowska-Curie (MSCA) - Postdoctoral Fellowships (HORIZON-MSCA-2023-PF-01-01).
IS-UP receives applications in both types of Individual Fellowships – European Fellowships e Global Fellowships – and has a particular interest in research and development projects that promotes sociological knowledge of the social reality from (i) different paradigmatic and theoretical proposals of sociology; and (ii) differentiated methodological approaches, as of the more quantitative to the more qualitative ones - the latter including ethnography and socio-historic studies.
Requirements:
Candidates must be experienced researchers; hold a doctoral degree at the call deadline; have up to 8 years of experience after Ph.D. (with exceptions contemplated by regulation); and, in the Global modality, be a national or long-term resident of an EU Member State or an Associated country.
Mobility rule: not resided or developed main activity in the country of the host institution for more than 12 in the 36 months before the call deadline.
